The Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a new Director to create a people strategy with exceptional service delivery, high performance and wellbeing at its core.

About The Organisation

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group was formed in 2017 as a result of a merger between East Berkshire College and Strode’s College in Egham.  Earlier this year Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) successfully joined the Group and together we now have over 300 years of experience and provide over 800 full-time, part-time and apprenticeship courses in various subjects, from entry-level through to higher education.

About The Role

We are looking for a senior human resources leader who has the drive, ambition and passion to lead from the front on all people-related matters.  You will need to develop our entire approach to organisational learning and development and ensure it becomes an integral part of daily life across the group.  You will be a supportive leader, skilled in coaching and able to develop your team and people services to establish a high level of confidence in the delivery of all people-related services.

As a newly merged organisation, there is a priority for our systems and procedures to be harmonised across the four campuses and your experience in this area will be utilised from day one.  Our systems must present real-time information that is up-to-date, relevant, and understood by all our stakeholders. Our policies and procedures need to support the development, recruitment and retention of our skilled workforce, support continuous improvement and add value to the group as a whole.

As a member of the Group’s Executive and Senior Leadership Teams, you will quickly understand the needs and the challenges of each curriculum and business support area, and put in place responsive and long-term plans which will improve the quality, offer and outcomes of your teams across the Group.

This is an exciting time to be joining The Windsor Forest Colleges Group – with autonomy and opportunity to design and deliver a new vision for People Services and Organisational Development, we expect that in twelve months you will be leading a high-performing and dynamic people services department that will support the Group to develop from strength to strength.
