Casual Animal Care Centre Worker

You will perform general animal care duties and assist in the preparation of practical equipment for use in the centre and lectures. Your duties will include (but not limited to):

• General animal care duties (mucking out, administering of basic medication, feeding and watering of stock etc);
• Assist with and update animal centre records;
• Assist with the maintenance of the animal care enclosures and associated areas;
• Assist with the health, welfare and euthanasia of all the stock, as required;
• Assist with the preparation, maintenance and storage of equipment for practical sessions.

You will have experience in practical husbandry of large and small animals, to include exotics and aquatics, and you will also possess (or be working towards) a Level 3 qualification in an animal related subject, or equivalent.
