Administration Assistant - Employment and Skills

18.5 hours per week. Fixed term to 31st July 2024.

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to join our Employment and Skills Team.  Our department works closely with employers in the region to identify courses and apprenticeship solutions to fulfil training needs. 

This position will support the Executive Director of Employment and Skills in their role liaising with key stakeholders across the region and within the College to secure funding, engage with procurement activities and establish meaningful relationships which will continue to enhance employer engagement and responsiveness.

We are looking to recruit a positive, professional self-starter to work within our busy team. The successful candidate will need to have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively.

This position provides excellent career progression opportunities through the development of a wide variety of skillsets working within both the education and corporate setting. 

Please note if you are selected for the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.  Unfortunately, the College is unable to contribute towards the associated travel costs.
