About the role
Buxton and Leek College, is part of The University of Derby, we are graded as a 'Good' College by Ofsted, you will be working with colleagues in an award winning, outstanding team, who take pride in supporting learners achieve their maths and English qualifications.
Buxton and Leek College have a unique opportunity for a Lecturer in Functional Maths and English to join an award winning 'Outstanding' Team delivering Functional Skills Maths and/or English to post 16 learners.
You will be experienced in delivering Functional Skills Maths and/or English to study programme students, apprentices and adults. Detailed knowledge of the appropriate qualifications and examination process is required. Delivering mainly at Leek and Buxton campus with a willingness to deliver at Derby campus and externally (if required).

If you are successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The post for which you are applying is exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 requiring any spent convictions to be declared.
