Contract: 37 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a qualified Dyslexia Tutor with experience of assessing and supporting learners 16-18, HE and Apprentices.

The successful candidate will hold Level 7 SpLD Dyslexia Qualification and have the ability to manage their own case load and work to deadlines. They will work with curriculum areas and individuals to ensure students who are dyslexic and/or present with other literacy difficulties, have equal access to the curriculum and college life in general.

This position requires excellent communication skills with the ability to support and direct learners in using different strategies and assistive technology for use within the classroom and self-study. The role will also include providing advice and CPD to tutors around differentiating classroom activities to create an inclusive classroom for all.
