HE Lecturer Sport Coaching

University Campus Doncaster(UCDon) is seeking to appoint a lecturer in sports coaching for the BA and BSc Sport programmes. Ideally, the post-holder will have a post-graduate degree in a relevant subject, as well as experience of teaching in higher education. An ability to also lead modules related to PE and sport and talent development would be advantageous.

Working within UCDon the post holder will be required to assume academic leadership for the appropriate modules within both programmes. This will involve substantial liaison with both internal and external groups, in order to ensure the effective organisation, development and delivery of our HE provision. The successful candidate will ensure the effective implementation of the awarding university’s quality assurance policies and procedures and is expected to participate fully in the appropriate subject-based committees and examination boards. The role will involve working with a small team, liaison with external examiners and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure the policies and procedures of UCDon are effectively adhered to. This will also include involvement in curricular review and development within the subject.
