Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are looking for a Work Based Assessor in the subject disciplines of Fabrication and Welding, Engineering and Engineering Technical Support. The role will involve conducting work-based and college-based assessments, Internal Verification and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation for candidates undertaking vocational qualifications; to develop industry and employer links and generate new business for the college.
You should be appropriately qualified with a Modern Apprenticeship/SVQ Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding/Enginee ring Technical Support or equivalent qualification or experience and possess your assessor and Internal Verifier awards or have equivalent experience. An ability and willingness to travel to assess candidates is also a necessary requirement.
