HCUC (Harrow College and Uxbridge College) is a high performing College offering students an “outstanding quality of education” (Ofsted 2022). Our School of Science, IT and Media offers a diverse curriculum to learners, mainly aged 16-19, including BTEC, OCR and UAL programmes from Level 1 to Level 5.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lecturer to enter an academic management position. Based at our Harrow-on-the-Hill Campus, you would be responsible for planning, implementing and delivering courses. You will support the Head of School in developing our provision, ensuring it is employer-focused and of the highest quality. You will also teach on a range of programmes according to your specialism and line manage a team of teaching staff.
You will be qualified in a relevant subject area and possess an advanced level teaching qualification, together with at least 3 years’ recent teaching experience in either ICT or Media. You should also have some curriculum management/co-ordination and team leadership experience, including support and developing Lecturers with their teaching practice and have the ability to manage and motivate your team. You will be joining a supportive College with a strong focus on employees’ development, and we will support you to develop within the role.
