HCUC is a large college with around 10,000 staff and students based on four campuses in West London.
In this role, you will assist the Senior Health and Safety Advisor and support them in providing specialist guidance to students and staff regarding all aspects of Health and Safety. You would undertake regular inspections of activities and documents, ensuring compliance with current health and safety law.
We are looking for a knowledgeable and well-motivated professional with an IOSH Certificate (an IOSH Diploma would be an advantage, however we will support you to obtain this qualification). You will need to have 3 years’ experience gained within a health and safety role, and have experience of giving advice on health and safety, writing reports and carrying out audits and inspections. A good knowledge of current legislation and best practice around risk assessments are essential and a flexible approach is also important. You will be a team player, with good IT and communication skills and a commitment to good customer service.
