Engineering Trainer Assessor

PART TIME AND CONTRACT TIME WORK AVAILABLE

We have two positions for Science Assessors to be based at Scunthorpe at North Lindsey College 

We will look at taking on professionals from industry and we will support you with all teaching qualifications and we also offer a full mentoring package. You will make the transition from industry to teaching seamless with our extensive training package available.  You will have an engineering background from a manufacturing environment, ideally in science manufacturing,  however other trades will be considered. 

The post is to conduct work-based assessment and support candidates who are approaching endpoint assessment for the science manufacturing standard level 3.  It is primarily based in Scunthorpe,  however there may be some involvement with our employers across the provision.    

The successful candidate will be working with our apprentices throughout their apprenticeship  you will deliver theory and practical training at North Lindsey College and at HESTA conducting on site observations for the NVQ3 in processing operations as well as supporting them with developing their portfolio and preparation for the end point assessment.  

The successful applicant will work with teams from both our main operation sites.
