Trainer Assessor - Welding
PART TIME AND CONTRACT WORK AVAILABLE
We have positions for welding assessor based at British Steel Scunthorpe.
The post is to conduct work-based assessment and support candidates who are approaching endpoint assessment for their welding qualification. It is primarily based in Scunthorpe however there may be some involvement with our employers across the provision.
The successful candidate will be working with our apprentices throughout their apprenticeship you will deliver theory and practical training at the British Steel site and conducting on site observations for the NVQ2/3 in welding and fabrication. You will also be supporting them with developing their portfolio and preparation for the end point assessment.
A good knowledge of general welding practices.
The successful applicant will work with teams from both our main operation sites.
