WHAT WE DO

The West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges operates on behalf of FE Colleges in West Yorkshire.

We are 'The Colleges' Company' offering a gateway for businesses to a unique package of training and support in West Yorkshire and the surrounding Leeds City Region.

We bring businesses, organisations and training providers together to deliver workforce training to meet the needs of businesses and future jobs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The successful candidate will be part of the project delivery team under the Joint Venture that has been developed in collaboration between FE Colleges in West Yorkshire, the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC).

As Partnership and Communications Officer, you ensure consistent communications are deployed across a wide range of stakeholders and throughout our portfolio of funded projects.

This role will also be responsible for maintaining an awareness of developments within the WYCC and the West Yorkshire Skills Partnership (WYSP), the region’s priority sectors and funding organisations, enabling the consortium to effectively engage in new opportunities.

The successful candidate will communicate the WYCC vision and ambitions to the right partners and key stakeholders, ensuring all are kept well informed, and ensuring ongoing and efficient dissemination of WYCC results and projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders internally and externally.
• Experience of working with internal governance processes and procedures.
• Experienced with a proven track record of delivering within a results-orientated environment and understanding different customer journeys and communications needs.
• Experience of delivering social media plans and knowledge of platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google Business.
• Experienced at executing tasks that support marketing and communication strategies, and managing online activities.
