Administrative and Project Officer
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Performance, Improvement and Customer Care team at CU. The role is integral to the successful delivery of projects and business improvement initiatives across CU and the Coventry University Group.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a project support or administration role. Experience of working within Higher Education will also be beneficial. You will be expected to demonstrate a flexible approach to work and willingness to engage in a number of different projects at any given time. The ability to manage competing priorities across your workload is essential.
With your excellent communication skills, you will be required to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across the business as well as key external stakeholders. You must have exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends and make recommendations for continual improvement.
You will use your leadership and initiative, and be expected to proactively take ownership of small scale projects as required to ensure successful delivery, as well as working as part of a small team to ensure the effective delivery of larger projects.
You should possess excellent IT and communication skills, with a particular proficiency working with Microsoft Excel. The ability to work to deadlines, and to prioritise when working across multiple projects at once is essential for this post.
You will be expected to work 36.5 hours per week and this may include occasional evenings and Saturdays. Whilst you will be located at CU Coventry and may be expected to work across all campuses within the CU Group.
