Kingshill Farm Coordinator

We have a great opportunity based at our Shuttleworth campus for a Kingshill Farm Coordinator to become a key member of our Land and Environment department.

As a Kingshill Farm Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Contributing to the effective day to day running of Kingshill Farm by undertaking routine duties with the livestock, arable and machinery operations.
  • Overseeing all practical areas across agricultural provision including livestock, crops and machinery, taking an active role in promoting health and safety.
  • Facilitating and providing technical support to teaching staff during practical sessions and routine farm duties.

Our ideal candidates will have experience of relevant current vocational experience in the agricultural sector and knowledge of current industry practices and legislation relevant to the UK agriculture industry, alongside the following qualifications:

  • Level 4 or 5 qualification in Agriculture or similar
  • English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
  • Level 2 award in Tractor Driving and Related Operations
  • Level 2 award in Land Based Forklift Truck operations

  • 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
