Salary: £11,391 to £13,105 Actual salary for 25 hours per week, 36 weeks per year 5 hours per day
Are you passionate about supporting young adults with complex disabilities to live happy and fulfilling lives, with as much independence as possible? Do you have experience of working with people with disabilities, learning difficulties or the elderly?
We require a part time Personal Care Assistant to work within our Additional Learning Support team, 5 days a week from 10.00am - 4.00pm (1 hour lunchbreak). The role is a specialist one that involves supporting our students with complex personal care needs throughout the day. Experience of working with people with additional needs is essential, as is demonstrable previous training/knowledge of; Moving & Handling, Personal Care, Dignity in Care, Feeding, Dysphagia, Infection Control, Medication, Disability First Aid.
