Aspire Learner Voice Co-ordinator (within the College’s Aspire Department)

Pembrokeshire College has an exciting opportunity for a Learner Voice Coordinator to join the Aspire Quality Team. Salary: Currently £19,808 pro rata (fractionalised posts are paid in equal amounts over 12 months and the appropriate element of holiday pay will be incorporated into the calculation)

Contract Type: Salaried. Permanent

Hours of Work:  25 hours per week to be worked over 32 weeks during the  College’s term. Working pattern to be agreed with line manager   upon appointment 

Qualifications:  It is essential to hold a minimum  of 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above to include English. An IT qualification at level 2 would be advantageous.

Experience:  You must have a good standard of written and oral communication.  You will be a good communicator, in particular with young people. You will have creative and innovative methods of inspiring learners to engage with Learner Voice and participate in Learner Voice activity. Whilst it is not essential, experience of being a former or current student at the College would be an advantage.

Details: You will demonstrate initiative, have an organised and structured approach with the ability to multi-task, whilst working accurately to targets and deadlines. You will need good IT skills and a willingness to improve them when necessary, especially in relation to data analysis and reporting. You will need the ability to work effectively with students and staff; be approachable, flexible and with a professional manner. You will also need to be outgoing, with the confidence to engage with learners on a day to day basis, in the learner Hub, as well as around the College grounds.
