Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Salary: £26,018 - £27,585 per annum (Unqualified)
£30,136 - £33,911 per annum (Qualified)
Market forces payment could be accessible for a fully qualified, suitably experienced/exceptional candidate. This can be discussed at interview/offer.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lecturer in Construction Craft Bricklaying or Carpentry and Joinery to join the Construction Team, where you will teach Construction Craft activity in both the workshop and classroom environment to develop learners’ practical skills and knowledge to support achievement and progression to employment within the Construction sector.
Our purpose-built Castleford Campus has superbly equipped workshops and specialist rooms available, which will provide a learning environment to support both skills and behaviours that employers within the Construction Sector require.
We are looking for a motivated applicants who are enthusiastic about working with young people, adults and employers and has a passion for construction and their qualified field.
As a Lecturer in Construction Craft Bricklaying or Carpentry and Joinery, you should:
- Be qualified to Level 2 / 3 in a Construction Craft related subject
- Hold GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in Maths and English or level 2 equivalent
- Experience of working with 16–18-year-olds, ideally in a teaching capacity
