In the role of Payroll Assistant, you’ll predominantly be based at the Huddersfield Centre and your focus will be on providing general administrative support to the College Payroll function.

Your key responsibilities will be being the first point of contact for all pay related queries; filing Payroll information for processing; collating and inputting pay and expense claims and assisting the team in any other duties as and when required.

Ideally, you’ll have a Level 2 in Maths and English, a Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience in HR and/or Payroll in a large organisation.  It’s important that you’re able to work autonomously; to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of people; to exercise discretion and confidentiality and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role

Hours/weeks: 37 hours, 52 weeks
