Hourly Paid Lecturer in Sports and Fitness

Location: Tottenham - London

About the role:

You will be responsible for teaching on the Fitness Level 1 & 2 courses with 19+ age range learners and responsible for planning and delivering fitness units linked to either Sport or fitness industry. There is the possibility of some teaching on the fitness courses that could be covered by this role. Other general curriculum responsibilities will include assessment, tracking student achievement and some administration for the courses. As the Sport and Fitness specialist, you will use the Sport resources and support student performances which celebrate students' work and skills development.

About you:

With appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in education and/or the Sport/Fitness industry, you will have a teaching qualification or the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of units in Fitness at Level 1 and Level 2. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.
