Lecturer in Biology

Hours of work: 29.6 hours per week

Location: Selby Campus, YO8 8AT

Selby College is part of the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group, providing education across Yorkshire and employing over 900 staff. The current main campus sites are located in Castleford, Selby and Wakefield. 

We are looking to recruit a Lecturer to deliver Biology to A Level and level 3 Applied Science BTEC students.

About You:  

As a Lecturer in Biology you will plan, prepare and teach as required by your line manager, monitor, review and evaluate student progress. 

You will keep accurate records of students, assessments and resources used as well as participate in standardisation and verification/moderation as required. You will also contribute to the development of Biology and related curriculum area including the preparation of learning materials, student assessments and intranet-based resources.
