Learning Coach - Junior Apprenticeship Programme

Term Time Only - Fixed Term until August 2023 - Full Time

Actual salary will be based on number of working weeks remaining of the academic year 

This role is part of the Partnerships Curriculum Area and focuses on supporting the 14 - 16 year-olds enrolled on the College’s Junior Apprenticeships programmes. The delivery models range from level 1 to level 2 with learners working towards vocational qualifications as well as GCSEs in Maths and English. 

The post holder would need to be resilient and effective in supporting learners who have been identified as at risk or vulnerable by their School. Experience of providing support and coaching in schools or of providing additional learning support/basic skills support to learners is essential. Previous experience of working with young people with complex social, behavioural and or emotional difficulties is also required.

The successful candidate will need a Basic Skills Qualification (or willingness to achieve L2 & L3) and also a Learning Coach Qualification/Youth work or similar Qualification.
