  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Higher Education Registry Office at the hub of the University Centre. Our role is to provide our students and curriculum staff within the University Centre with an excellent service. It is important you can deliver a fast and efficient service by ensuring you are approachable whether that be answering student queries or completing admin tasks for the curriculum teams. You will be working within a small but friendly team.   • You will provide a professional reception service for the University Centre.
  • You will undertake administrative and clerical tasks, including word processing duties, use of databases and spreadsheets, mailshots, email, photocopying, faxing and filing.
  • You will deal effectively and professionally with telephone and face to face enquiries from staff and the public.
  • You will carry out general admin duties relating to curriculum areas, including setting up registers, timetables, letters, change requests, chasing references/results.
  • You will maintain student records including processing enrolments, withdrawals and change requests.
  • You will maintain student finance records (SFE system) confirming registration, attendance and bursaries.
  • You will create and maintain effective filing and computerised systems as required.
  • You will deal with requisitioning for goods and services, and process invoices using the College’s financial portal.
  • You will assist at enrolment and other college events, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • You will comply with any other reasonable requests.


  • You should have experience of Microsoft Office suite.
  • You should have experience of taking detailed minutes at meetings and maintaining confidentiality.
  • You should have experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • You should have an outgoing personality.
  • You should have a smart appearance.
  • You should have good timekeeping.
