Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are looking for a Work Based Assessor in the subject disciplines of Fabrication and Welding, Engineering and Engineering Technical Support. The role will involve conducting work-based and college-based assessments, Internal Verification and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation for candidates undertaking vocational qualifications; to develop industry and employer links and generate new business for the college.
You should be appropriately qualified in the relevant specialism/discipline to SCQF Level 7/8, and possess your assessor and Internal Verifier awards, L&D 9 DI and L&D 11 or equivalents. An ability and willingness to travel to assess candidates is also a necessary requirement.
