Nursery Nurse - Casual Hours

The successful candidate will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere and environment that allows all children to be valued and developed. You will ensure that a policy of non-discrimination be adhered to in every facet of the life of the Nursery. Children from ethnic minorities should be afforded every opportunity to maintain their cultural identity through the provision of suitable ethnic learning, play experiences and a respect for particular dietary and religious considerations.

You will ensure that all equipment, activities and learning experiences both indoors and outdoors are relevant to the developmental needs of the children in the group encouraging independence, self-motivation and eagerness to learn.

You will possess a relevant qualification in childcare and have knowledge of working with children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years. You will also have the ability to provide a secure and stimulating environment and work well as part of a team. A Level 3 CACHE Diploma or BTEC is desirable.
