We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and committed teacher of History to join Loughborough Sixth Form College. The College is experiencing growth and application numbers for Sixth Form are at an all time high. We are therefore looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting.
You will deliver inspiring and effective teaching, learning and assessment to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences. Progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners exceed aspirational target grades.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering History to Year 12 and Year 13 students and will be expected to make significant contributions to the outcomes of the area. You will have experience of delivering the AQA History A Level specification as well as the Edexcel specification, ideally with the Warfare Unit.
A relevant degree is essential and applicants must already have a teaching qualification. You will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large team.
The Sixth Form is a priority department for Loughborough College and we are looking for candidates who will work to build on successful outcomes within this area and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery.
