Are you an innovative and technically skilled Digital, IT, Computing based Lecturer? Do you have excellent skills in coding such as Python, Java and /or C#? Could you be the person to support the growth of our provision in the development of the digital sector?

We are looking for a full time Digital Computing Lecturer to join our outstanding college to deliver across our current provision at Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 working across a wide range of IT based courses including T levels, OCR and HE qualifications via exam and project-based assessments. Delivering coding to be used in a variety of settings is key to the position alongside being a highly motivated individual, who is technically skilled and an excellent problem solver. Your coding abilities may be enhanced by other skills within the field such as web, data, cyber security and cloud which will complement our curriculum.

You will be delivering in our newly refurbished Digital and Creative centre with responsibility for the successful learning experiences of students, high levels of student engagement, student retention and achievement. Working alongside the digital and creative team you will use your enthusiasm for the industry to encourage growth and development in the sector by providing opportunities to learners to experience and excel within the digital industry. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the Digital and Creative Industries teams to contribute to the development of cross department projects in line with industry practices.

Outstanding skills in the use and delivery of coding are essential for you to be considered for this role.

A teaching qualification would be an advantage or a commitment to undertake this within the first year of employment is essential.
