CU Coventry is significantly investing in our teaching and learning strategy and in substantial campus estates development. We have recently been ranked as 13th UK University and the country’s top modern university, according to the Guardian University Guide 2019.

Health and Life Sciences has an outstanding reputation for teaching and learning. In particular, 94% of our graduates are in employment or further study within six months of graduating.  We are firmly focused on preparing students for successful careers, in the context of industry’s current and future demands.

We require a member of staff with the ability to teach across Nursing and Allied Health Professions within the Health and Life Sciences area.  You will be teaching on an expanding and developing curriculum provision. This is therefore an exciting opportunity to become a valued tutor.

Applicants should ideally have a Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree with professional experience in a relevant health profession. Experience of teaching and supervising student project work is beneficial, as would possession of a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one). Experience of employer engagement would also be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and inspirational teacher, and be able to communicate with students, tutors and academia at all levels.

Duties include teaching on and co-ordination of modules, and employer liaison.

The ambition to succeed in a competitive arena is essential with a focus on creating an outstanding academic student experience.
