We are looking for qualified, enthusiastic ESOL lecturing staff to join our bank of staff lecturers.  We run a full-time academic year programme which caters for local migrants and students from overseas.  Lecturers work in close collaboration with other members of staff, so we are looking for someone with good communication skills, who can work well as part of a team.  You may be asked to deliver SQA units, Cambridge exam preparation, Academic English, or bespoke units for commercial clients.

Teaching opportunities also arise outwith the academic year in our Summer School, which also has a vibrant Social Programme. Teachers may be asked to accompany students on these activities.

Previous teaching experience is desirable as is experience of teaching multi-lingual classes of adult students. Experience of teaching across a range of ages, nationalities and levels would be a strong advantage. In addition, you should be a well- motivated self-starter with good communication skills who is able to work effectively with a team. A strong customer-focus is essential.
