WHAT WE DO
University Leeds has a proven track record in the provision of high quality, vocationally focused higher education. Our history of educating teachers has primarily been focused on the post-compulsory sector, however we are currently at an exciting point in the development of a broader offer which will include training both secondary and primary education teachers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Head of Department has a significant role to play in the strategic direction of the provision and will draw on their experience of working in higher education to lead the review and ongoing development of the curriculum.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with a proven track record in leading higher education curriculum to secure growth and development. Hence we are looking for core leadership skills in addition to those relating to creating and managing budgets while also managing quality assurance processes
