We are seeking a pro-active, customer-focused individual looking to develop a career in Business Administration or IT to join our successful team.  

Our IT team manage capital and expense budgets with a combined value in excess of £2m a year. You will assist with inputting and monitoring the fulfilment of orders to ensure goods are received before payment is authorised, and work closely with our Finance team to make sure the correct budget codes have been applied and sufficient budget has been allocated. You will also assist in liaising with suppliers and the College’s procurement officer, ensuring best value for money is gained on all orders and that compliance requirements are met.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will also work pro-actively to manage all tickets on the College’s helpdesk system developing useful and transferable skills in IT. You will act as first point of contact for customers across the College, resolving as many incidents and requests on the first call as possible, and escalating to the IT Engineers where appropriate.  

You will be a positive and enthusiastic team player, with good customer service and communication skills.  You will be well-organised and keen to learn about new IT systems and technologies. We will support you to obtain a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.
