Two new Health Education England (HEE) funded positions for Peripatetic Educators (PEs) have arisen to contribute to the delivery ambitions of the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership (HNY) LEAP Programme. Join an enthusiastic, forward thinking and compassionate team, as Tutor in Nursing at CU Scarborough, to mobilise a time limited project of intensive support in Primary Care in the North Yorkshire and York, and Humber partnerships.
The LEAP programme is fundamentally about delivering a better future for the population of HNY, through retaining more qualified and skilled health and care professionals; creating better experiences for our learners and partner organisations; and better choices for learners by promoting true equality among roles in health and care.

The successful candidates will offer intensive Place level support to General Practice and improve the learning environment by;
-Implementing and embedding the NHSE/I and HEE Core Supervision Model for Multi-Professional Teams in participating General Practice organisations and Primary Care Networks
-Testing Student-Led Clinics as part of the HEE Clinical Placement Expansion Programme
-Informing digital learning opportunities in Primary Care.
-Hosted by Coventry University Scarborough and working on behalf of the HNY Partnership, a PE will be allocated to each of the two main geographical areas Humber, York and North Yorkshire, to facilitate the following aims in General Practice;
-Increase uptake of core multi-professional supervision training and supervision activities
-Develop core supervision capability/competency
-Demonstrate potential to increase placement capacity through student-led clinic pilots
The Tutor in Nursing (Peripatetic Educator) will all be expected to:
-Work as part of the Nursing team at CU Scarborough.
-Communicate and engage effectively with Partners and stakeholders across the HNY geography. A blended approach to on-site/virtual meetings is recommended.
-Deliver the outputs of the projects to the agreed objectives/metrics within the contract period.
-Work flexibly to accommodate conflicting/competing demands and delivery barriers/risks that require an agile, resilient approach.
