In the role of Preparing for Adulthood Coach you’ll be working across our centres within Huddersfield and Dewsbury and your focus will be on developing opportunities to ensure that students are able to make progress and meet the outcomes of their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Your key responsibilities will be to develop action plans with students that focus upon development of independence and ownership to achieve goals through coaching and mentoring.
Ideally, you’ll have at least a Level 3 qualification in supporting students with Learning difficulties or disabilities or experience in a related field (or be able to prove equivalent ability). You’ll also need demonstrable experience in working with students with SEND across the breadth of our provision. It’s important that you’re able to develop partnerships with a range of stakeholders, communicate effectively and engage with young people with learning difficulties or disabilities. Due to the nature of our work, it’s essential you’re committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults

Actual salary range: £24,232 - £25,713
