Nottingham College have a large estates portfolio of uniquely different campuses all of which offer a great place to work.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard-working and dedicated individual to welcome as part of our diverse team.

The successful candidate will be located at our City HUB but willing to travel to different campuses helping us to impact on people’s well-being through providing welcoming and comfortable surroundings to deliver education and learning as you carry out maintenance of our buildings and site, help ensure our buildings are ready to receive our customers each morning and ensuring our buildings are accessible and secure through key holding responsibilities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to effectively communicate with our customer base (both verbally and in writing)
  • Show an understanding of building issues e.g. security systems, building management and heating systems
  • Be able to carry out a range of everyday DIY tasks safely and competently using power tools along with other equipment to make minor repairs and improvements
  • Have the ability to calmly deal with emergencies and unexpected events
  • Have the ability to maintain records for planned and statutory maintenance.
