Dartington Trust invites applications for a Senior Lecturer and Programme Lead for the Schumacher College BSc Regenerative Food and Farming and to join our growing learning community which includes Schumacher College and the Dartington Arts School. If you have a passion for working with undergraduate students in a residential and experiential learning community, then the position of Programme Lead could be right for you! If you have exceptional teaching experience in food and farming, a love of the land, a passion for experiential learning and a desire to support students in their learning journey, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include leading the delivery of BSc in Regenerative Food and Farming and associated unaccredited courses and modules; programme development, delivery, teaching, recruiting and supporting module leads and guest tutors, budget development and oversight; supporting students in their studies, advising students on assignments, and marking assessments and working with and referring students to academic and wellbeing support as appropriate; working with staff, students and volunteers across land & learning programmes as well as external stakeholders to most effectively leverage our shared resources, partnerships, and land-based initiatives to cultivate a rich and rewarding learning experience for our growing cohort of students.

The successful candidate will join an evolving and vibrant learning community that includes the Arts School, Schumacher College, a programme of more than one hundred courses, workshops, events, arts and music festivals each year. Our community of 120 postgraduate and undergraduate students engage in immersive low-residency, hybrid, and online learning throughout the year.

Being part of our learning community also means adapting to flexible working hours including evening events and occasional weekends.
