Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer (37.5 hours per week/40 weeks per year)

We are looking for a Safeguarding Officer to work within our Student Support Team providing care and support to students.

Do you have previous experience of working with young people and vulnerable adults.

Are you committed to Safeguarding?

Whilst a experience of Safeguarding is preferable we will consider applicants without with a passion to support our students and full training will be given.

Are you confidential?

Do you have knowledge of systems and agencies that operate to support the care of young people?

Your Duties
You will work as one of the College Safeguarding Officers, implementing the college’s safeguarding and child protection policy and procedures.

Safeguarding is the most important role for all of us.

You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records using College systems.

You will provide direct support to learners to improve resilience and attachment and support their immediate and long-term wellbeing.

Person Specification
You will have previous experience of working with young people and vulnerable adults or a passion and willingness to train.

You will be committed to Safeguarding and confidential when necessary.

Salary - Support Spine - Band 6 £18,134.13 - £19,036.73 (pro rata to the full time equivalent of £20,955.00 - £21,998.00 per annum)
