Forest School Practitioner

Doncaster Forest School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Forest School practitioner to join the staff team, to deliver Forest School intervention programmes across the borough to a range of children and young people with varying needs. The role will require an individual with graduate skills and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders. They must be able to demonstrate the Forest School ethos in their work and must have current experience of working with young children as well as young adults.  

The successful applicant will be working off site on a daily basis and must be flexible to the business needs. They will have a high level of IT skills and be able to assess, monitor and record children’s weekly progress. They will be required to produce reports on the data captured and present to a range of stakeholders as required in order to evaluate outcomes.

The successful applicant will be willing to work toward the level 4 Forest School Trainer award.

It is essential that the successful candidate is a highly driven individual with the ability to inspire children and young people to achieve their full potential.
