The Link Academy is looking to appoint an Attendance and Student Welfare Manager to lead within the school to improve student attendance. The role of the Attendance and Student Welfare Manager is to ensure that all students receive appropriate support to maximise attendance at school and to achieve their full potential. They will provide a link between home and school developing good working relationships.

The Link Academy is a good school (Ofsted 2022) with high expectations for everyone.  With values of dreaming big, rewarding effort, leading together, respecting each other, and learning that inspires running through all aspects of school life. 

Dudley Academies Trust was formed in September 2017 under the sponsorship of Dudley College of Technology.  Our Trust schools are St James Academy, The Link Academy, Pegasus Academy, Beacon Hill Academy, Blowers Green and Kates Hill Primary.  The Trust when combined with the sponsor, annually supports 8,500 young people aged 4 to 19 years old and employs almost 1,300 staff.

The Trust recognises that our staff are our most valuable asset and investing in our people is a key strategic priority for the Trust. A common and extensive programme of staff development operates across the Trust, this is extended to senior and middle leaders, aspiring leaders, teaching and support staff and non-qualified teachers.

You will be joining the Trust at an exciting time as we are continuing our journey to provide a first-class education for the young people of Dudley, with outstanding teaching and learning being the Trust’s foremost priority.
