Next Steps South West Institutional Outreach Officer
Full time, fixed term to July 2023
The Next Steps Arts University Plymouth Institutional Outreach Officer will support the outreach provision for the Uni Connect Programme. This programme is funded by the Office for Students bringing together 29 partnerships of universities, colleges and other local partners to offer activities, advice and information on the benefits and realities of going to university or college.
This is a unique opportunity to support the work of a collaboration of key stakeholders, comprising all the universities and FE/HE colleges in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The post-holder will assist in the delivery of core outreach projects from Arts University Plymouth in line with strategy and direction from the Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions. Relationship-building with internal stakeholders is central to the role as well as the other Next Steps Outreach Institutional Officers. The post-holder will also be required to maintain contact with other external stakeholders including target schools and organisations that support the running of core Next Steps South West Outreach activities.
Line management of this post will be through Arts University Plymouth, as the lead institution for Next Steps.
The post is fixed–term in the first instance until July 2023.
