Lecturer - Engineering

The School of Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer of Engineering to teach a range of programmes from level 1 up to degree level 6. You will have extensive experience of the industry and/or a proven track record of delivering Engineering courses. You will be passionate to pass your knowledge and experience onto the students you teach. The role will focus on a mixture of practical delivery of core Engineering principles, as well as Engineering skills and knowledge.

Duties will include planning, teaching, and assessing learners, ensuring that the quality of education is exceptional. Additionally, you will provide academic and pastoral support to students, being able to respond to challenges to ensure that students are encouraged and developed to reach their full potential.

Candidates should be qualified to HNC/HND in Engineering and hold or be prepared to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification. In addition to this, candidates should be dedicated to delivering the highest standards of teaching and learning and the advancement of student attainment. You will be self-motivated and proactive in developing and maintaining quality standards on programmes and demonstrate a commitment to the School and College's improvement plans.

Please note if you are selected for the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply. Unfortunately, the College is unable to contribute towards the associated travel costs.
