Lecturer in Animal Management

Hours of work:     37 hours per week

Salary:                   £26,018 - £27,585 per annum (Unqualified)
                               £30,136 - £33,911 per annum (Qualified)

Location:              Wakefield City Campus

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lecturer in Animal Care and Management to join our team, where you will teach across levels, from Level 3 to HE.

Our Animal Care curriculum area offers a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 5 and has an animal collection consisting of small mammals, reptiles, and other species.

We challenge all our students to realise their full potential and aim to provide high levels of personal support to ensure their success.

As a Lecturer in Animal Management, you will teach Study Skills, Research Project, Ecology and Conservation modules on Level 3, Access and HND. As well as teaching Science modules, such as Practical Science Skills in Animal Science and Animal Metabolism.

As a Lecturer in Animal Management, you should have:

- A Degree in Animal Management, Ecology or other related discipline

- GCSE A*-C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths or equivalent

- Experience of teaching HE and related level 3 qualifications

- Up-to-date knowledge of the relevant curriculum relating to CAVA Access, HND Animal Management/Science/Ecology
