Cashier and Finance Clerk

Location Primarily Blossomfield Campus

Solihull Colleges busy Finance Department is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cashier and Finance Clerk to co-ordinate the operation of our Cash Office and support the associated Credit Control and Sales Ledger functions. The role will also involve supporting other elements of the College Finance Department as required.

The successful candidate will oversee all Cash Office tasks including, being the primary contact for staff and students, facilitating both cash and cashless transactions, recording and monitoring petty cash and floats, banking transaction management, and collaborate with cashier functions across our other campuses. They will need to work using their own initiative and proactively take ownership for their area of responsibility.

Full training will be given but previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage. Some travel between sites may occasionally be required.

Please note if you are selected for the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.  Unfortunately, the College is unable to contribute towards the associated travel costs
