Pembrokeshire College has an exciting opportunity for a Tutorial Co-ordinator to join the College’s Aspire Quality, Teaching and Learning Team. The Tutorial Co-ordinator will lead the College’s approach to enrichment and extra-curricular pastoral activity for vocational learners to enhance their learning experience and drive learner progression and achievement. Salary:
Scale 30-33 (£30,808- £33,706 per annum)This is a 3 point incremental scale with progression to each point on an annual basis. Commencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College’s starting salaries matrix
Hours of Work: Full time (37 hours per week)
Contract Type: Salaried. Permanent
Holiday Entitlement:
28 days pro rata (increasing to 32 days for 5 years + service) plus 8 Bank Holidays & College closure days per annum
Qualifications:
You will be educated to Level 4/5 in a relevant subject and/or and ideally hold a relevant teaching or delivery/training related qualification such as AET (formerly PTLLS). Highly proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite is also essential.
Details:
This is a new role to the College and a key strategic area of development. You will design, develop, and co-deliver a group tutorial programme for vocational learners from entry level to level three. You will work closely with the teaching Faculties and key managers to produce an annual programme incorporating key themes including: celebrating diversity, healthy relationships, mental health and wellbeing, carbon net zero and Welsh language.
