HCUC (Harrow College & Uxbridge College) is a thriving Further Education College in West London, with four campuses at Uxbridge, Hayes, Harrow Weald and Harrow-on-the-Hill.  Based primarily at our Uxbridge Campus, you would be responsible for responsible for the management and operational delivery of a safe and secure environment across the College, whilst promoting a customer focussed and positive security culture for students, staff and visitors.  Reporting to the Head of Estates and Security, you would lead on incident management and on the development, maintenance and implementation of security policies and procedures.  You would manage a team of security staff, be the focal point for communication with the Police and assist with Safeguarding and Prevent issues.  

Together with experience in security or a Police/Armed Forces/related role, you will have previous management experience, good knowledge of security issues, with excellent communication, customer service and inter-personal skills.  You will be able to deal with incidents in a competent, calm manner and will have the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.  Ideally you will have experience of working with young people in an educational environment and knowledge of CCTV access control systems.  The role will be based at Uxbridge Campus, with the requirement to travel to our other campuses at Harrow and Hayes when required.
