Sports & Activity Activator

We are currently looking for outgoing individuals with a genuine interest to work with our students on a range of activities to complement their core study programmes.

Your duties

As the College community grows we are developing our programme of events to further enhance the student experience. This programme offers additional activities that will be available during non-teaching periods. The emphasis is on recreational activity that will suit students of all abilities and be a fun, engaging way to keep up activity levels.

You will work as part of the Sports Facilities team to organise, supervise and facilitate events. You will also be responsible for supervising student communal areas during key break times during the day and promoting engagement in the programme of events available.

Person specification

You will be a positive and outgoing individual who is confident to engage with a range of people on a regular basis. You will have a minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and hold a sport or fitness based qualification. In addition you will also hold a First Aid at Work qualification although support will be provided to achieve this if required. You will be a competent user of IT systems and able to pick up new systems quickly. To coordinate a range of events simultaneously you will have strong organisations skills and be able to effectively work with a range of stakeholders.
