Based at Llwyn Y Bryn reception, the key focus will be to act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers and students and to offer advice and guidance that includes all areas of learning support, both face to face and over the telephone, delivering excellent customer service and promoting Gower College Swansea.

You will be responsible for dealing with queries from staff, students, businesses and the general public both through face to face and over the telephone.  You will also undertake  administrative duties as required.

You will have experience of working in a reception/customer service environment and hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent and GCSE Maths and English qualifications (Grade A-C).

Speaking and listening Welsh language skills at level 3 are desirable but not essential for this. You will be prepared to work flexibly where required.

Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than applications submitted in English.

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to a start date before February 1st).
