ALS Apprentice Administrator (1)

Contract: FT 37 hours per week – fixed term for 18 months

We have an exiting opportunity for an Additional Learning Support (ALS) Apprentice administrator to support our ALS Co-ordinators, particularly around Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and the Exam Access Arrangement (EAA) Process. The role would suit someone with an interest in administration task and the additional learning support funding process.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has great attention to detail, are organised, passionate and have an interest in working with people. In this role, you will have a fantastic platform on which to develop or build your admin and additional support knowledge in addition to the transferable skills you will gain through hands on work experience. We are looking for someone who is confident in their IT skills, a willingness to learn, a good communicator, and with a calm approach to working in this busy environment.

In return, the College will commit to providing you with 20% off-the-job training to complete your studies, enabling you undertake the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.

During your apprenticeship you will be working within the Additional Learning Support (ALS) Team, which will expose you to general administrative tasks supporting wider ALS funding, gathering information for EAA and supporting with EHCP process.

Subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship and satisfactory performance, this opportunity will possibly lead to permanent employment within the ALS Team.
