Associate Customer Contact Assistant

We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford campus for a an Associate Customer Contact Assistant to become a key member of our Customer Services department.

As an Associate Customer Contact Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Acting as a single point of contact for all customers contacting The Bedford College Group, offering a triage service to determine their needs and answering any FAQs where you can. This will include coordinating onward referrals to the most appropriate team, consistently monitoring and tracking all referrals.
  • Working effectively as a member of the Marketing & Student Recruitment Directorate, carrying out any other associated duties as directed by the Senior Customer Contact Manager or Head of Enquiries & Admissions.

Our ideal candidates will have experience of working in a fast-paced customer focused environment and exceeding customer expectations and experience of providing advice to customers using a variety of communication methods, e.g. email and via the telephone, alongside the following qualifications:

  • A good standard of education, including English and mathematics at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent.
  • An IT qualification at Level 2 or above

Terms and Conditions - Bedford College Professional Services

These roles service hours will be from 18th August to 30th September 2022 (32 hours per week)

Hours:

Monday to Thursday*: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Fridays*: 10:00am – 4:30pm

30 minute break each day.

*Additional hours may be required on GCSE Results Day and the following day, Thursday 25th August, and Friday 26th August.

Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you.
