The Role

The HE Sport Department are actively recruiting for a Lecturer in Biomechanics (full time).  This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a progressive, learner focused department that places innovative teaching, learning and assessment at the forefront of their professional practice.

For this role, you will have experience of teaching undergraduate students within the area of Biomechanics, with an ability to contribute towards the supervision of undergraduate dissertations in the field.  Experience and knowledge of Strength & Conditioning as well as Qualitative and Quantitative research methods would also be an advantage. 

The role includes the design delivery of formative and summative practical and written assessments as well as contributing to the overall performance of the HE Sport team.

The Applicant 

You will have a commitment to student centred learning with teaching and curriculum design, underpinned by scholarly activity, research and/or experience as an applied Sport/Exercise Biomechanics practitioner.

To be successful you will have a Masters and a good honours degree that are relevant to the post along with teaching experience.
