HCUC (Harrow College & Uxbridge College) is a thriving Further Education College in West London with far reaching ambitions for our IT and digital provision. We are seeking a pro-active, customer-focused individual looking to develop a career in IT to join our successful team.  

 

You would provide efficient and effective 2nd line support, responding to incidents and requests from customers, diagnosing device faults and ensuring optimal availability of IT equipment to our learners and staff.  The role will also involve assisting in the administration of Active Directory and Microsoft 365, testing and evaluating new software, installation of IT equipment and software and ensuring calls are logged and monitored effectively, escalating where necessary.

You will be a customer-focused team player, with an enthusiasm and interest in learning new technologies.  You should have a good working knowledge of the following:

  • Networking principles including TCPIP, DNS and DHCP
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Microsoft Office 365 including administration of Exchange
  • Active Directory Administration
