The Computing and IT School provides our learners with the knowledge and skills required by the computing industry.  We provide an excellent foundation for our learners to progress to the next level including careers in the IT, apprenticeships and Higher Education.

We are seeking a full time Lecturer to join our successful team and deliver across a range of Computing courses, from Level 2 to Level 5, specialising in Programming and/or Databases.

You will need to possess a degree in a Computing subject, together with some teaching experience  You will need to have knowledge and experience of at least two of the following areas:

  • Programming (C++, Java, Python, VB.Net)
  • Computer Games Development
  • Animation
  • Database System
  • Computer Networking

You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to motivate and enthuse young learners aged 16-18.  If you do not already possess an advanced level teaching qualification, the College will support you to obtain this and pay for the course in full.
